Auditions for LA Monologue & Song Slam 2024 Competition at Studio For Performing Arts LA

Oct. 16, 2024 | LA auditions are NOW OPEN for online submissions for adults of all ages; the top 20 performers will perform at Studio For Performing Arts LA’s upcoming “LA MONOLOGUE & SONG SLAM!”

The grand prize winner will take home a $100 cash prize plus over $300 in studio scholarships and giveaways. Additional top performers will also receive select prizes and scholarships. A “Creatives Mixer” will follow the Slam.

DATES & LOCATION:

If cast, you must be available on Monday, Oct 21 from 7-9pm for a Zoom rehearsal AND in person Thursday, Oct 24 from 4-9pm PT at Upstairs at El Centro (1103B N El Centro Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038)

Audition: Casting virtually from videos, Submit ASAP (demo reel, self-tape, monologue or song). Video links should be clickable, allowing us to play your videos directly without needing to download them.

HOW TO SUBMIT AN AUDITION:

***Submit only once, pick ONE of these options: 

1) Email studioforperformingarts@gmail.com with your photo/resume and a video of your performance (either a demo reel, self-tape, monologue or song). OR

Submit to the “LA Monologue/Song Slam” on: 2) Casting Networks OR 3) Backstage

Contract: $100 cash grand prize, plus scholarship to multiple winners. No pay; open to all performers, union and non-union. If cast, there is NO fee to participate.
